Québec, a leader in greenhouse gas reduction

Québec ranks first in Eastern North America for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, according to an annual evaluation by a coalition of environmental groups in relation to the New England Governors/Eastern Canadian Premiers Climate Change Action Plan. The announcement was made last week by Québec Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks Line Beauchamp.
