Québec Month in Japan

Even though Québec has had a government office in Tokyo for close to 35 years and Japan is Québec’s number-one export market in Asia, there is room for closer relations with the Land of the Rising Sun. During the month of March, the Japanese capital is hosting a series of commercial, scientific and cultural activities aimed at encouraging people in Japan to discover or rediscover Quebecers’ ingenuity, talent and daring. Dubbed Québec s’il-vous-plaît!, Québec Month in Japan was officially launched on March 5 by Québec’s Deputy Minister of International Relations, Denis Bédard.
