The ministère des Relations internationales is often associated with various international events, including congresses, conferences, symposiums, and special anniversaries. It also coordinates missions and other events that take place in Québec and abroad, working in close collaboration with other ministries and organizations. These events are ideal opportunities to spread the word about Québec on the international stage as regards its politics, history, economy, society and culture. They also provide important spin-offs in terms of tourism.
